ROYAL FAVORITE ZARA WOWS WITH STUNNING LOOKS AND DOWN-TO-EARTH MANNER

SUNDAY EXPRESS NEWSPAPER

ROYAL beauty Zara Phillips was mistaken as a professional model during a recent film shoot for a clothing advert.

But unlike many in the fashion industry, onlookers said that the Queen's granddaughter had a particularly down-to-earth air about her.

The 27-year-old royal was filming an advert earlier this month at picturesque Saunton Sands in Devon for outdoor clothing company Musto.

Graham Jenkins, 56, a dog walker on the beach, says locals were at first unaware of the identity of Miss Phillips, a keen equestrian and reigning Eventing World Champion.

One admirer even told her she was a "fit bird" and offered her accommodation at the nearby B&B that he owns.

Mr Jenkins said: "Everyone initially thought Zara was a professional model. She looked absolutely beautiful.

"When I told the person who called her a 'fit bird' that it was Zara Phillips he was quite shocked but apparently she just laughed. There were no airs or graces with Zara at all.

"We were taking pictures within 20ft of her and no one told us to stop. She even posed for a photograph with my wife Jean."

Mrs Jenkins added: "I kept thinking how beautiful and natural she looked."

The shoot for the clothing company that sells specialist equestrian, sailing and shooting garments is the latest in a string of lucrative advertising campaigns for Miss Phillips, who is dating England rugby player Mike Tindall, 30.
