Revenge by raffle: Wife hits back at surgeon who stalked secretary... by offering their 750,000 marital home as a prize

Angry: Sim Lawrence outside the luxury home she is raffling off after her doctor husband becoming obsessed with his secretary

A woman whose surgeon husband became obsessed with his young secretary has decided to raffle their 750,000 family home.

Sim Lawrence, 40, asked her husband to leave the house after he was suspended for stalking his colleague.

She has also written and recorded songs about the affair, in which she attacks the 50-year-old father of two for acting like 'a devil'.

Those who download the tracks from her website will be eligible to enter the lottery to own the four-bedroom home in Cornwall, which was bought and owned by Miss Lawrence.

Her husband Hans Desmarowitz was suspended from his senior hospital role for three months after he stalked his secretary and began secretly collecting information about her personal life.

He planned to pass on the information to private detectives so they could gather more details about his unsuspecting colleague.

The secretary, identified at a General Medical Council hearing as RP, became aware of his obsessive behaviour when his wife found emails between them and accused her of sleeping with her husband.

RP then checked the surgeon's work computer and discovered a hoard of personal information downloaded from NHS medical records about herself, her family and her long-term boyfriend.

At the time Miss Lawrence appeared to be standing by her husband.

But it has now emerged that shortly after she asked him to leave their home in Truro, where they lived with their children aged eight and six.

Miss Lawrence, who has ambitions to become a pop singer, has now written tracks that openly refer to the episode.

One is titled The Secretary, and features the lyric: 'Everyone thinks that you're such a nice fella, Saving lives every day like a god - but you're a devil to me.'

The song is illustrated on her website by a staged photo story of a medic having an affair with a younger woman.

To ensure maximum download sales, Miss Lawrence has included an entry into the house raffle for every single buyer.

The modern detached house in Truro has a wet room, a balcony, a 40ft kitchen and oak floors throughout.

Miss Lawrence said: 'By selling the house I can finally put this distressing episode of my life behind me and move on.

'It's a great chance for me to show my singing talents and for people to own a marvellous place to live.

'I am a strong woman and I wanted something good to come of all this.

'This is my chance to be listened to and turn a bad situation to my advantage. Even during a recession, one pound or less to win a 750,000 house has to be good value.'

Last year the GMC hearing heard Mr Desmarowitz's obsession developed when he worked as a vascular specialist at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro.

He enjoyed a 'flirtatious' but platonic relationship with his secretary, but in autumn 2006 he asked her to take it further. She refused.

Stephen Brassington, for the GMC, said that Mr Desmarowitz 'wished to know - if he divorced his wife and wanted to engage in a more serious and long-term relationship with RP - the type of person she was'.

After learning that he was collecting information about her, she complained to hospital bosses and his computer was seized. Officials also found 350,000 pornographic images on its hard drive.

Mr Desmarowitz, who now works at a London hospital, admitted accessing and storing confidential medical records and engaging private investigators.

He also admitted storing pornography on trust premises
